Kampa Park - Prague

For Mrs' Birthday, based on favorable impressions founded at the Prague Food Festival, we went to Kampa Park Restaurant ...
These are her birthday flowers . . .

This is the view she had from our river-side terrace table

Well, picasa loads the photos out-of-order. This is my main course, Saddle of Lamb with Lentil ragout, grilled artichoke leaves, parmesan croquette . . . very good . . . even tho' we just had Prosecco with our meal, no red wine

Mrs had monkfish wrapped pancetto, with white bean ragout, clam ravioli, fennel, and orange sauce . . . whew . . .

For starters, Mrs had seared scallops with cauliflower, nuts, raisins, and caper beurre blanc . . .

I had a torchon of duck foie gras with pineapple, white balsamico, 5 spice jelly and brioche . . .  this was why we'd come here for Mrs' birthday, for this foie gras, it was that good at the PFF . . . but she said the scallops were speaking to her so we shared . . .

and the de rigeure amuse bouche' . . . just a little salmon tartare . . .

They don't have a michelin star, yet, but it surely will be just a matter of time . . . they do have the Michelin Bib award on the door for the last 2 years . . .
