Museum of Arts and Design Presents First Museum Exhibition Exploring the Design of Perfume Opening November 20, 2012

I don't think i was supposed to take pix, but i didn't see the harm here . . . it's all olfactory, if you see how I mean . . . one would stick ones head deep into this, er, uh, depression, and an automatic jet would spray cologne scents . . . chosen for their landmark status in the industry of development of scents . . . .

I don't know who, where, when

In the courtyard of a very nice restaurant in Troyes, FR, that was closed . . .

Iggy's Seafood, Providence, RI

Iggy's gets better everytime we go . . . it's so small, that we had trouble getting a table, and even as we were getting up to leave, people were jumping into the booth . . .

the seafood platter is just excellent . . . I started with a bowl of RI Chowda -- it is clear broth, unlike Manhattan or New England, probably better for you, but still deliscious . . . the platter has a huge cod filet, butterfly shrimp, clams, and bay scallops . . . there's also a couple of onion rings and huge "doughboys", fries are good, too, but the cole slaw is not the best . . . have to eat it anyway to give the meal some fibre, if you see how I mean . . .

Mrs & Bitsy both just had the fish & chips . . . the cod filet couldn't be better.

Delta Business Class Meal on International Flight

nice nuts . . .not as good as the Prague Old Town Hilton, but better than average . . .

Shrimp Cocktail Appetiser with Pumpkin Soup . . . enjoyed the shrimp more than I tho't I would, better than it looked . . . pumpkin soup was fine, if you like that sort of thing . . .

salad tasted like any airplane salad, just bigger . . .

steak was very tender with an aromatic au jus, the potatos were inoffensive, the green beans were crunchy . . . so thumbs up, very good

chocolate tarte was very good, especially with coffee and a courvoisier . . . coming over, even in coach, on KLM, they served Camus . . . courvoisier is good, very good, but Camus is better . . .

The Grille, East Greenwich, RI

Grandson got the PGP Pear-Gorgonzola-Pancetta pizza . . . he said the gorgonsola was too much . . . but he's only 13, so figger .  .

I went for the top-dollar item, a lobster pot pie. The surprise here was how spicy it was . . . like they'd added cayenne to it or something . . . that made me sorta rave about it, even tho I didn't like the way it looked served, with the crust kinda floating in the glop, but it was wonderful . . .

Mrs had the grilled chicken caesar salad . . . lotta chicken, which I guess some people like . . .

Ruby Tuesdays, Wrenthem Mall, MA

  nice samuel adams winter beer

reasonable looking hamburger, but i didn't enjoy it . . .

wasn't sure why, but, and I really can't make any allegations, since no one else got ill, but I had to go to the immodium later that night, for some reason . . .

RISD Museum, Providence, RI
