Prague Street Art

Near the corner of Ostrovni & Vilsilska . . .
these three rooftop objects . . .

in some secular park that closes at night, there peacocks (not doing anything photoworthy)
and this odd, apparent bee-hive . . . .

then at the corner of Rybna & Dlouha,
where there used to be a big (giant) femur floating over the street,
is now these two figures . . .

Olbram Zoubek, Prague Riding School . . .

No this isn't one of his . . . just saw it on the way, and thot it was funny . . .
even more so in retrospect,
if you see how I mean . . .

Most of the names were sorta irrelevant to me . . .
just the name of his model (wife) or some other one liner . . .
but this one is called Lot's Wife 1, 2 ,3, 4, 5 . . .
and you can see the essentiality of the title . . .

One of my personal faves for reasonsI cannot articulate . . .
just like big hair , I guess. . . .

this is one of the works that got zoubek in trouble . . .
it's not "shot man" (1959), but "shot people" to the best of our memory . . .

this was an amazing exhibit, organized very clearly, by the artist zoubek himself . . .
showing the progress of a concept thru several iterations . . .

these Ășns they had outside were my absolute faves . . .
this is Libuse & her two sisters . . .

these are his two wives in juxtaposition . . .

a second version of Libuse & her sisters . . . .
