Sahara -- Prague - Namesti Miru

We love the sahara. The ambience, inside & out, front & back, is marvelous . . . I usually get lamb . . . but to try something different, I saw this hamburger, and tho't it might be awesome . . . fraid not . . . .had a $7 dollar hamburger at the Zvonarka on Safarikova that Mrs was disparaging, but I think it was better than the Saharas' $17 version (350Kc). Seemed gritty from the grill. . . . the brambory americka were excellent, however, even with mayo instead of ketchup.
Mrs did not experiment, just had the tuna salad she often gets, and it was up to the Sahara Standard we expect. . . so they're not slipping, they just don't do burgers that well.

March 2011 visit
We had the Business Lunch . . . 350 Kc, but we sat out on the back Terrace and it was awesome . . .
we had salad to start, and the usual bread with butter and onion, um, tapenade, but the pictures didn't turn out . . . for desert these chocolate/banana flautas with homemade ice cream . . .
place is no longer on our regular rota . . . I think they have slipped a half-notch or so, and their prices are just outrageous . . . but it's very nice there and the staff are as attentive as they can be without being obnoxiously obsequious, and they DID serve me the best lamb I've had in Prague, once, so I'll have to go back occasionally.
