Paulaner, Dresden

feel terrible that pix came out so dark . . . Mrs says now we have to go back . . . 8^) . . .
 
first time at the famous Dresden Landmark . . . friendly service, great beer, and fine traditional german cuisine.
 
I had onion soup and the schnitzel, slightly below Figmuller's of Wien standard, meaning: excellent . . .
mrs had a huge salad and Nurnburger sausages. . . .don't know why the Nurnburgers are so good in Dresden . . . 8^D . . .
 
Big Red had onion soup, also, and a caesar salat . . . caesar salat was DROWNED in bottled dressing . . . only low-point of the night. . . .

They ran out of Pork Belly Lunch Special, so with our permission, they substituted a small beef steak, with celeric-potato puree . . . num, num, num

we always just tell Leon our favorite waiter to pair a wine for what we order. We've never been disappointed. We do sometimes say "some dry reisling" . . .
 
I love the seafood antipasto . . .
Mrs loves the grilled fish & vegetables . . . simple peasant food, we tell ourselves . . . 8^) . . .
