Paulaner, Dresden

feel terrible that pix came out so dark . . . Mrs says now we have to go back . . . 8^) . . .
 
first time at the famous Dresden Landmark . . . friendly service, great beer, and fine traditional german cuisine.
 
I had onion soup and the schnitzel, slightly below Figmuller's of Wien standard, meaning: excellent . . .
mrs had a huge salad and Nurnburger sausages. . . .don't know why the Nurnburgers are so good in Dresden . . . 8^D . . .
 
Big Red had onion soup, also, and a caesar salat . . . caesar salat was DROWNED in bottled dressing . . . only low-point of the night. . . .
 

Aromi Lunch Special

well, substitution . . .
They ran out of Pork Belly Lunch Special, so with our permission, they substituted a small beef steak, with celeric-potato puree . . . num, num, num

Aromi, Prague

we always just tell Leon our favorite waiter to pair a wine for what we order. We've never been disappointed. We do sometimes say "some dry reisling" . . .
 
I love the seafood antipasto . . .
Mrs loves the grilled fish & vegetables . . . simple peasant food, we tell ourselves . . . 8^) . . .

Mrs got dibs first on the seafood pasta.
Sugar got seafood ravioli.
I had the mushroom pot pie.
We had Est! Est! Est!, which has a good story behind it -- google yourself . . . 8^) . . .
sugar had a chocolate fondant.
I shared a TiraMisu with Mrs.
 
Awesome. 

Golden Temple, Amsterdam

hadda sit up stairs, cuz they were busy . . . no chairs, hippie seating on the floor . . . legs went to sleep . . . still very enjoyable . . . all Vegetarian . . . I had the Greek platter, Mrs & Sugar had an Indian platter . . . a little Prosecco goes well with both . . . Sugar had some spinach Jamba-Juice-Like concoction . . .

Hoped against Hope that they would have their Duck Burger, but had to settle for just duck breast.
Mrs had a chicken burger.
THEN a little choco mousse.

Sakura, Cerna Ruze, Prague

The FABULOUS Gyoza, and Thai-grilled shrimp (in the shell).
